The project is modular and non-linear in nature, and assumes the implementation of the following modules:

INNOVATION IMPLEMENTATION:
Involves the expansion of the technological facilities of the existing production plant of Podlaskie Zakłady Zbożowe in Białystok, enabling the implementation of the results of the Company’s own R&D work by launching production and introducing to the domestic and foreign markets a group of eco-innovative food products—at least on a national scale—namely pre-gelatinized wheat flours produced using the innovative FHT (Flour Heat Treatment) technology, dedicated to specialized applications in bakery and confectionery. As part of this module, it is planned to purchase and install a highly specialized, fully automated flour pre-gelatinization line designed to the Applicant’s individual specifications, as well as storage silos and three automated, independent packaging lines for FHT products. The investment also includes the purchase and installation of a biofuel steam boiler.

R&D MODULE:
Covers the execution of a comprehensive development program aimed at devising and ultimately introducing to the market (outside the scope of this project) pre-gelatinized rye flours that are innovative at least on a national scale, along with a novel production technology focused on energy optimization of the process.

The assumptions of the project reflect the implementation of a coherent development strategy of Podlaskie Zakłady Zbożowe S.A., whose overriding goal is the production of healthy and, above all, safe food, consistent in quality with the requirements of its customers, as well as the development of the company based on technologically advanced, innovative products made from domestic raw materials, operating in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and social responsibility.
